THOUSAND FACES
Privacy policy.
Thousand Faces, Inc., based in New Jersey, USA, operates Thousand Faces. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website or use our screenplay and storyboard app.
Effective October 12, 2026. Contact: hello@thousandfaces.ai.
Information we handle
When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, verified email address, and profile name. We do not receive your Google password or request access to your Gmail messages, contacts, or Google Drive. You can edit your display name in account settings.
We store the material you provide and create in the app: scripts, reference photos, character descriptions, creative directions, generated text and images, selections, revisions, and exports. We also keep generation requests and results, the exact prompts and reference inputs used, job status, and AI usage and cost records. Messages you send us may include your contact details and support information.
Our hosting and security systems process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser information, errors, and service activity. Essential cookies maintain your session and protect sign-in. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party marketing analytics on the website or app.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, store and display your work, perform the analysis and generations you request or enable, maintain revision and spending history, support you, and keep the service secure and reliable. We do not sell personal information or use your scripts and photos for advertising. Thousand Faces does not train its own AI models on your content.
AI processing and service providers
To analyze a script or generate a character or storyboard image, we send the relevant script content, prompts, creative instructions, and selected reference images to Google's Gemini API. Uploaded photos attached to a generation are included in that processing. Review what you upload and only provide material you have permission to use and share with these services.
We use Gemini's paid API service. Under Google's paid-service terms, prompts and responses are not used to improve Google's products. Google may retain them for a limited period for safety, abuse prevention, and legal requirements. Its processing is subject to those terms and its applicable data protection terms.
Render hosts our application, background processing, and PostgreSQL database. Cloudflare provides DNS and private R2 object storage for uploaded and generated files. Google also provides sign-in. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. Processing may occur in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.
Content is available to accounts authorized for its screenplay; it is not published to a public image bucket. Authorized service operators may access information when needed for support, maintenance, security, or legal obligations. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate confidentiality protections.
Retention, security, and your choices
We retain account and project information to provide your library and its history. Replacing a description or choosing a different image does not erase earlier revisions or generation records. We may also retain information as needed for security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Deleted information may remain temporarily in provider logs or backups under their retention practices.
We use HTTPS, authenticated access, private file storage, and access controls. No storage or transmission system can guarantee absolute security. Keep copies of important original work.
You can update your display name in settings and export storyboards in the app. For access, correction, a copy of your information, or account and content deletion, email hello@thousandfaces.ai. Deletion currently requires a support request. We may verify your identity and explain any information we must retain. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing and to complain to a privacy regulator. We will address applicable requests in accordance with law.
Adults only and policy changes
Thousand Faces is for professional and business creative use by people aged 18 or older. It is not intended for children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the effective date and give additional notice of material changes where required. Questions can be sent to Thousand Faces, Inc. at hello@thousandfaces.ai.
