Terms of use.

These terms govern your use of Thousand Faces, operated by Thousand Faces, Inc., based in New Jersey, USA. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Using the service

Thousand Faces helps professional and business creatives turn scripts into character references and storyboards. You must be at least 18 and legally able to agree to these terms. If you act for a company or another person, you must have authority to do so. You may use AI features only where Google's Gemini API is available.

Sign in with your own Google account, protect it, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for the content and instructions you submit.

Your content and reference photos

You retain your rights in scripts, photos, descriptions, and other material you provide. You give us permission to store, copy, process, and transmit that material to operate the service for you, including sending relevant inputs to our AI providers and displaying results to authorized project users. This permission does not transfer ownership of your work to us.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and use your material, including photos of other people and any use of their likeness. Do not upload content that violates copyright, privacy, publicity rights, confidentiality obligations, or applicable law. Do not use the service for fraud, harassment, deceptive impersonation, non-consensual intimate content, or other harmful or unlawful activity, or attempt to bypass access controls or provider safety protections.

AI-generated work

AI can misinterpret a script, invent details, and produce inaccurate, inappropriate, or similar results for different users. Review generated descriptions and images before approving, publishing, or relying on them. You are responsible for deciding whether your use of a result is lawful and appropriate, including any necessary permissions or disclosures.

Thousand Faces does not claim ownership of your generated storyboards. We do not guarantee that any result is unique, eligible for copyright protection, or free of third-party rights. AI processing is also subject to the applicable Gemini API terms and prohibited use policy.

Costs and availability

There are currently no customer subscriptions or in-app payments. Spending history records AI provider usage; it is not a bill to you. If we introduce paid plans, we will explain the price and obtain your agreement before charging you.

The service is evolving. Features, models, availability, and generation times may change. Generations may fail or be declined by a provider. Keep independent copies of important material; the service is not a substitute for your own archive.

Privacy and ending use

Our Privacy policy explains account information, uploaded content, AI processing, retention, and deletion requests. You may stop using the service at any time and request account or content deletion at hello@thousandfaces.ai.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably needed to address a breach of these terms, abuse, security risks, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to retrieve your work.

Disclaimers and applicable law

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We are not responsible for third-party services or how you choose to use generated content. No provision excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

New Jersey law governs these terms, except where mandatory law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise. Please contact us first about a concern so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not waive any mandatory consumer protections or access to remedies required by law.
